Feelings are one of the primary tools for discernment. When you remove a persons ability or capacity to "feel" you basically render that persons ability to navigate through being able to tell right from wrong. You hinder their motivation to seek "truth".
I say that because.. You won't do something...that feels wrong to you. Furthermore if you have no sense of right and wrong based on how you feel..the pursuit of a truth is irrelevant because you have no remorse, nor regrets about "lies".
So imagine that this assault on ones capacity to "feel".., via socially accepted deceptions, via lack of integrity accepted as normal.. Induced apathy from hopeless incidents, and by way of pharmaceuticals... We are being assaulted in the areas of discernment.
People normally use these emotions to migrate towards what feels right...and avoid what feels wrong. If that compass is broken or denied? Chaos and heartlessness follows.
