"-ve to +ve" - By LMB

Extracting something positive from something negative is a true art, a skill anyone can acquire it just takes a desire to do so and a keen eye, and a decent amount of discernment.

In the nothingness of meditation, often a vast amount of knowledge and experiences come from it. As we physically try to do everything you'd be surprised what you could learn by simply not being in your body at all... but functioning in the awareness of your spiritual state.

I used to go fishing just to relax. The calm and beauty of nature and the ability to tune out everything but just to focus on "fishing ".. Taught me a lot about myself. I learned several lessons in patience, discipline and a respect for nature. So much so? I actually eventually stopped fishing. Fishing for sport no longer became necessary.

The same was true when i used to be a hunter. Studying the habits of the animals i once hunted taught me a lot about them, the environment and more importantly ..myself. Hunting for sport no longer became acceptable to me, so i stopped hunting.

For me? In doing these things out of ignorance, not knowing.. Following the tradition of my elders, but was also curious about survival in the wild was what led me into it, but.. Because i have done it...i learned and grew out of it. Yes there was the thrill and fascination of understanding firearms, marksmanship, understanding elevation, Windage, bullet trajectory, reading tracks the different types of animals would leave, the signs on the trees and branches from the deers antlers...how a squirrel always moves keeping a tree between it and you blinding you to its movements as it flees to safety.

I learned a lot about the nature of animals, and a lot about the nature of man as well.

Pulling something positive out of something negative is indeed an art. Once you understand this? Encountering negativity becomes useful. It becomes fuel...to power positivity.

For every obstacle is an opportunity for growth. Problems in truth are no more than equations. Emotions tend to cloud our rational, logical, critical thinking ability, yet they are necessary to serve in the area of discernment.

When encountering an obstacle or problem, just pause first rather than to predictably respond. Pausing gives your brain time to reason a better solution. The ability to think before you speak...to reason before you react.

Look at the negativity around you and find a way to convert it into fuel to power positivity.
